The official promotional material and match listing for WWE's Best of
For longtime fans of professional wrestling, the end of the year meant
one of the biggest events of the year-Starrcade. Rivalries that had
festered for months would be settled once and for all. Contenders that
had long dreamed of their big break would finally get their title shots.
It was an annual event that even predated WrestleMania by two years.
Now, for the first time, fans can see the great NWA and WCW battles on
DVD with The Best of Starrcade.

Maybe. The way I'm thinking about it that it's not even the end of the
streak itself that was so bad, it was everything after. I'm one of those
people that watches WCW stuff and always thinks about how they managed
to ruin the awesome parts by following it with straight up shit. The
newer Flair dvd and Four Horsemen dvd have been doing this to me lately.

Who (n.N.) didn't like Goldberg; but, as with everything they stumbled
upon during the late 90s, when WCW fuck it up they do it in
spectacular fashion.
